I have also applied for the Welsh Guards Band.
Following the parade entertainment will be provided in the Town Hall Gardens.

We are looking for any items to help fill the Falklands Display.

10 PARA REUNION

This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the formation of the 10th Battalion of The Parachute Regiment – a fitting occasion for the first big all ranks Reunion since the Battalion was amalgamated into 4 PARA in 1999. We are grateful to the Commanding Officers and staff of LDSTT and ULOTC for use of the largest Drill Hall in central London – on the promise, of course, that we leave it on time and in good order. There is no overnight accommodation in the Drill Hall. Spread the word. 
We aim to keep the format simple for this first gathering: a stag do with a good curry and a few veggie and other options, served as a buffet so that we can wander about to find old friends, with beer at mess prices. Dress will be smart casual (probably, though not necessarily, blazer and Bn tie - but not T-shirt & jeans). All this for just £20, tickets in advance, not refundable and not on the door, with any surplus being carried over to the next reunion, or failing that to Airborne Forces charities. 
The Croydon Branch of the PRA has been good enough to act as Treasurer for the event, so please send your cheques for £20 to the Branch Secretary, Ginger Mead, at the address shown on the form below. It is important that you complete all detail accurately as admission will be restricted to genuine 10 PARA veterans. Please give e-mail addresses so that we can send you an e-ticket wherever possible, to save work and postage, otherwise a stamped, self-addressed envelope would be appreciated.
You can, incidentally, make sure that you remain in touch with your old PARA comrades by joining the PRA for £7.50 life subscription. Ask Ginger for details.
