Royal Corp of Transport (RCT) Killed in Northern Ireland

Driver Laurence Jubb. Aged 22.
Killed 26-04-1972

L/Cpl Michael Bruce. Aged 27.
Shot dead by a sniper while on mobile patrol in Anderson Town, West Belfast on the 31-05-1972.

Staff Sergeant Joseph Fleming. Aged 29
Was found shot dead in a partially burnt out car in Little Distillery Street off the Grosvenor Road in Belfast on the 9th July 1972.
He was a regular soldier in the RCT who was attached to the TA at the time of his murder.

Driver Peter Heppenstall. Aged 20. 
Shot dead by a sniper while on foot patrol in the Ardoyne area of Belfast on the 14-07-1972. 

Driver Stephen Cooper. Aged 19.
Killed in a car bomb explosion at the Oxford Street Bus Station Belfast along with another soldier Sgt Philip Price, age 27 Welsh Guards,
and four civilians. on the 21-07-1972 , The IRA gave an Inadequate warning 

Driver Ronald Kitchen. Aged 20. 
Shot dead as he was manning a Vehicle Check Point on the Oldpark Road, Belfast on the 10-11-1972.

Driver Michael Gay. Aged 21.
Killed in a landmine explosion while on mobile patrol near Dungannon, County Tyrone on the 17-03-1973.

Sgt Thomas Penrose. Aged 28.
While off duty and with two friends S/Sgt Barrington Foster. aged 28 Duke Of Edinburgh Regiment and 
Sgt Michael Muldoon. aged 25 Royal Army Dental Corps, were lured to a house by some women on the pretext of a party in the Antrim Road Area of Belfast, The IRA were waiting for them and executed the three Men on the 24-03-1973.

Sgt Michael Muldoon

Driver Norman McKenzie. Aged 25.
Killed in a landmine attack while on mobile patrol near Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh on the 11-04-1974.

Sgt William Edgar. Aged 34.
While home on leave in Londonderry from his unit he was abducted and executed by the IRA and his body was found dumped in the City Cemetery near Creggan in Londonderry on the 15-04-1977.

Driver Paul Bulman. Aged 19.
Killed in a landmine attack on his vehicle along with four soldiers from The 1st Bn the Royal Green Jackets.
Rfn Michael Bagshaw. aged 24, Rfn Andrew Gavin. aged 19, Rfn John King. aged 29, and L/Cpl Grenville Winstone. aged 27.
near Bessbrook County Armagh on the 19-05-1981.

L/Cpl Norman Duncan. Aged 27.
Shot dead by the IRA while driving a civilianised mini bus in civilian clothes in the Waterside area of Londonderry on the 22-02-1989.

The memorial stone (left) is in the grounds of the Military wing at Musgrave Park Hospital, a long with the QARANC stone, (below) and this stone was found in the rubble after the bomb went off, it was going to be thrown away but some one saw it and took it back off the lorry, as it used to be on the wall of the building, so it was put in the garden next to the memorial stone

killed 2nd November 1991 when the IRA detonated a bomb At the military wing of Musgrave Park Hospital in Belfast, 
It was later disclosed that the bomb had been carried through a children's ward, which ran adjacent to the military wing. A hospital porter was later convicted of the atrocity.
